ALLEPPEY - KUMARAKOM (Backwater Cruise on full board basis)
On Arrival transfer to Alleppey. On arrival board the Houseboat. Take a
journey through the scenic backwaters with typical Kerala meals served on
board by your private chef. Today you will enjoy boat cruise, it is an
incredibly different experience to cruise in the backwaters in houseboats,
absorbing the beauty of Kerala villages. The scenery flashes up vivid
contrasts of breath-taking greens and deep blues. A journey through the
curving and winding backwaters of Kerala is an experience of returning to
nature. The fully furnished Houseboats take one to a fascinating cruise at a
leisurely and relaxing place. Stay overnight at Houseboat.
KUMARAKOM -THEKKADY
Morning after breakfast checkout from the houseboat and proceed to
Thekkady. Enjoy a drive through the spectacular countryside to arrive at
the hill station of Thekkady (Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary). The very sound of
the word “Thekkady” conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of
hills and spice scented plantations. The Periyar forest of Thekkady is one of
the finest wildlife reserves in India, and spread across the entire district are
picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for
treks and mountain walks. On arrival at thekkady by noon time check into
the hotel and proceed for a plantation visit subject to the climate and time permits.

THEKKADY - COCHIN
Early morning proceed for a boat ride in Periyar Lake, after breakfast check out
from the hotel and proceed to Cochin, you will be taken for a sightseeing tour
around Cochin, the city famed as „Queen of Arabian Sea‟, which takes you to
Mattanchery Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays), St. Francis Church, the Oldest
European Church in India, the Chinese Fishing Nets -
living symbols of centuries Old Chinese influence. Stay Overnight at the Hotel.
DEPARTURE / Airport (Cochin)
Transfer to Cochin Airport for your onward journey OR if you are extending your stay proceed to that
hotel.
